This is a star-shaped, pinbacked button measuring approximately 2.5" wide.

This is made with Mylar, ...it is a small plastic shield that is pressed into the button, granting the outer surface of it water resistance.

While the mylar makes my buttons mostly water resistant, we do not recommend washing it under the faucet. Use a slightly dampened cloth to remove debris, avoiding the dimple at the top, and store in low-humidity conditions for the longest lifespan.

The backing on these is saftey pins looped through the metal of the button!
